I am a Tango dancer and teacher. I was born in Chacabuco, a city to the west of Buenos Aires (and origin of tango). I started dancing tango salon and stage in 1995, when I was 16 years old.

I am a piano teacher and when I was 6 years old and I was studying piano I had my first challenge with tango.II had fun at that time and I did not know why I played and practiced the waltz "Desde el Alma" so many times! I still remember those days as well as playing La Cumparsita. I loved those moments of enjoying solitude, a moment with myself; and I started dancing ballet almost at the same time. I connected with tango dance later on, as I have mentioned earlier.

In my first tango event, with my family there, the applause moved me and inspired me, and since then I could not stop.

In 1997 I began traveling to Buenos Aires to take classes and workshops to continue improving, to be inspired, to experience the world of milongas and to grow. At the beginning I had no idea where to start or which teacher was the best to study. I had to stick with it and try, most of them were men, it was quite an adventure.

Mingo Pugliese was one of the milonguero teachers who shaped my beginnings in those trips to Capital Federal, Buenos Aires.

It has been more than 23 years since tango became part of my life and I want to share with you, on this website, all my experiences and my stories (It’s good to laugh).

I connected with tango dance later on, as I have mentioned earlier.

Maybe you have seen me in:

When I was 18 years old I participated in the Bonaerenses Youth Tournaments and, together with my partner, we won the first prize in Tango showand that took us to Spain, which made my career as a tango dancer begin to have more prestige.

At the end of 1998 I started to teach classes with little experience but with a lot of passion for children, young people and adults who were enthusiastic about this dance. Some of them competed with me, together we created choreographies for festivals and shows; we also participated in TV shows, and I taught others to dance and enjoy a good embrace while I continued to improve myself in Buenos Aires, the capital city.

In 2002 I opened my first tango academy in Chacabuco "Fusión Tango".

In 2004 I was selected, along with my partner, for a tango salon training organized by TangoVia and the city government, and I started to travel two or three times a week. Another new adventure in the big city of Buenos Aires.

The training was at ACETA (Academia de Estilos de Tango Argentino) with milonguero teachers such as Puppy Castello, Portalea, Gavito, among others.

And at the end of 2004 we were called for the show "Copes Tango Copes" and we toured in Ukraine, a different experience with a first class company of dancers.

I decided to move to Buenos Aires (another new challenge), and since then I started performing in Tango venues and more prestigious events, y eventos which meant a new path and vision.

Sharing and working in amazing shows with great choreographers like Carlos Borquez and Roberto Reis, Paola and Nicolas, prestigious dancers and orchestras in places like Complejo Tango Show, Piazzolla Tango Show, La Ventana Show and Madero Tango, among others.

And then the tours around the world began and with them, a new adventure: shows, festivals, classes... and I'm still going for more.

Mexico, Spain, Japan, China, Germany, Australia, Istanbul, United States, Colombia, Canada, Bali, Italy, and London are some of the places I toured with tango and continue to visit..

In all these places I met many students of different cultures and ages, but with the same passion, the same doubts and the same enthusiasm.

Also during this tango journey I had the pleasure of sharing the stage with dancers from other fields such as the Martha Graham Ballet (contemporary dance) and America Ballet (classical dance). They inspired me with discipline, quality and passion.

In 2012 I opened my second tango academy in Chacabuco, my hometown.

And in 2014 as a result of an article in the New York Time and for traveling regularly to New York to share my tango I was given a spot in the historical archive of the NY Library. I was already overcoming many dreams and there are still many more to come.

I am a Jury in different competitions, in official preliminaries of the tango world championship, also in Colombia, USA and Indonesia.

I continue my path with new projects, shows and festivals, such as dancing in 2019 in the Show La Cumparsita directed by Luis Bravo creator of the Show Forever Tango, as well as working under the direction of tango dancer and choreographer Fernanda Ghi with her Dance Show Teatro Black and White and having the privilege of being part of the OPERA MARIA DE BUENOS AIRES in 2 opportunities, with Atlanta Opera and NYC Opera.

Why did I create this online academy of Argentine tango?

In my tango beginnings the information about tango was scarceI could read something in some magazine or in TV shows, but there was not much access to that.

Now we have the possibility of having the Internet (to find the information we need whenever we want), and this inspired me to share my experience, history and knowledge with those women passionate about tango salón who want to practice to feel more confident and elegant when it comes to "milonguear".

I was seduced by the idea of setting up online tango classes with the material ordered and organized so that the learning process is optimal, and you can keep up to date with the latest news (something I would have liked in my beginnings).

This way you can practice from your home and then apply your knowledge in a real embrace at the milonga.

Although I like to travel and I try to take tango to every corner of the world, there are places and moments that I can't attend, and that's why I decided to break down barriers through the internet, reaching every corner of this planet with my classes, thus being able to transmit some of my Argentinean culture.

With the classes and videos, I aim to show and inspire milongueras women to feel more elegant, creative and to find a unique style.

My goal is also to motivate those women like you who want to look more confident and help them to build their self-confidence, so that they can enjoy and adapt more easily to various embraces and styles, feeling comfortable and relaxed while dancing.

I want to show you my easy and practical teaching method, dedicating a few minutes a day to your tango, with small details you will make a big difference.

Something a little more personal

  • I like challenges and new projects, that's why when I'm in Buenos Aires I take the time to finalize all the details, because when I travel I focus on enjoying the tour.
  • Tango is my passion, I don't consider it a job. I am also a graphic designer and I love to collaborate in the design of flyers and video editing.
  • The paperwork bores me; however, I do enjoy organizing my tango agenda: where to go, sending and answering emails, selecting the clothes and shoes for each occasion, defining and putting together the classes I'm going to teach, getting tickets, dealing with visas, organizing my rehearsals and training, writing new content for the blog, etc.
  • I enjoy eating different foods in every place I go to. I don't like cooking or anything related to housework. A good cheese can never be missing.
  • I enjoy outdoor activities, going to the gym, watching a show (I prefer it to have some dancing), suspense, fight, romantic movies and Disney movies are my favorites.
  • I can't be without my mate. I am always cold and I prefer the sun and the summer.
  • I love to teach what I do (I don't keep any secrets) and I like to show the details. I notice when a student stands or excels in a certain movement and I try to motivate him/her to work on his/her weakness.
  • My classes are relaxed but demanding, practical and functional, I always try to share my experience and tell stories.
